Utility’s Electric POR Rates Effective May 1st

National Grid filed its annual Purchase of Receivables (POR) discount rate calculations, referred to in Massachusetts as Standard Complete Billing Percentage (SCBP).
- The proposed SCBP rates effective May 1, 2025:
- residential: 2.68%, down from the current 2.99%;
- commercial: 3.69%, up from the current 3.53%; and
- industrial: 1.02%, up from the current 0.35%.
