Working Group Releases Long-term Ratemaking Report

The Massachusetts Interagency Rates Working Group announced the release of the long-term ratemaking study and recommendations, which are “…focused on rate design following deployment of advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and long-term ratemaking and regulatory mechanisms to advance affordability and decarbonization.” The state Department of Energy Resources will now convene a Massachusetts Electric Rate Task Force to discuss and further consider rate design and regulatory and ratemaking mechanisms identified in the long-term ratemaking recommendations.

DOER invites stakeholders to complete the Task Force Interest Form by March 21.
