PUC Issues Order Allocating Electric Ratepayer Funding Fy 2027

On June 9, the Maine PUC issues an order allocating to each transmission and distribution utility (T&D) its respective calculated procurement amount and the quarterly dates by which the payments must be made directly to the Efficiency Maine Trust (Trust) for fiscal year (FY) 2027 of the Trust’s Sixth Triennial Plan for FY 2026-2028.

Total sales for calendar year 2025 for all T&Ds, net of sales for transmission and sub-transmission customers, was 9,715,039,528 kWhs. Each T&D’s pro rata share of the total $23,228,618 based on reported sales for calendar year 2025 is set forth in the attachment to the Commission order.
