PUC Issues Tentative Order Cancelling EGS Licenses

On July 16, 2026, the Pennsylvania PUC issued a tentative order finding four electric suppliers and brokers to be non-compliant with the required payments to fund the commission’s oversight of Electric Generation Suppliers (EGSs).

In its tentative order the Commission finds that it is now appropriate to terminate their EGS’ licenses. These include AlphaBuyer, Commercial Utility Consultants, Freedom Logistics, and New Energy Consultants.
