IPA Seeks Feedback on Storage for All Program
| The Clean and Reliable Grid Affordability Act charges the IPA with evaluating and potentially developing and implementing a Storage for All program, which would provide incentives to encourage development of energy storage projects co-located with solar projects developed under the IPA’s already well-established Illinois Solar for All program.
As a first step in the program development process, the Illinois Power Agency seeks written stakeholder feedback on various topics related to design and implementation of the Storage for All program. This request for written feedback will be followed by a virtual workshop on October 30, 2026 that will offer a forum to discuss design and implementation ideas for this new program that are contemplated in the written feedback request.
