Auction Manager Posts BGS Data Reports

On January 30, 2025, the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities (BPU) Auction manager posted the final BGS-RSCP Rate Spreadsheets and the Rate Spreadsheet.  Tool also made available multiple data documents are available at link.

This link includes final Summer and Winter factors for all EDCs are 1.0000, and therefore “BGS-RSCP suppliers are paid the Auction price for that EDC for every kWh of load served in all months of the three-year supply period.” “The revised document only adds an additional decimal point to the values in Table 3.”

Also on January 28, 2025, the Auction Manager posted a sample calculation related to Class I obligations.   The “sample calculation considers reductions to suppliers’ Class I obligations related to”: (1) SRECs; (2) TRECs; and (3) SREC-IIs arising from New Jersey’s Solar Successor Incentive Program.

In addition, the Auction Manager posted updated Mark-to-Market information).  The document contains: (1) “illustrative marks for each month of the BGS-RSCP supply period”; (2) “a description of the methodology that will be used to adjust these marks” beginning 1/27/25; and (3) “a description of the methodology for updating forward prices over the term of the contract.”

On January 28, 2025, the Auction Manager posted final decrement formulas final decrement formulas.

The Auction Manager also posted EDC municipal aggregation enrollment data and BGS-CIEP Opt-Ins.
