American Wholesale Energy Inc. has filed at the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio a Competitive Retail Electric Service (CRES) Provider application and a Competitive Retail Natural Gas Service (CRNGS) Provider application.

American Wholesale Energy applied for authority to serve all customer classes in all service areas, though its current website suggests a focus on business customers.

Tim Mulcahy, CEO and co-founder of ONIT Energy, serves as CEO of American Wholesale Energy.
