LD 556 bill would prohibit municipalities from banning distribution for, or use of, any “safe and commercially available” heating or energy system.

On February 11, 2025, the Senate State and Local Government Committee suggested reference to House State and Local Government Committee and bill ordered sent down for concurrence.  On the same day the bill referred to House State and Local Government Committee, committee in concurrence.
