CBRE Files a Delaware Electric Broker License

On March 18th CBRE, an application for a certificate as a Retail Electric Broker in the State of Delaware.

In its application letter CBRE states that it “is a Delaware corporation and the world’s largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, publicly traded on the NYSE (ticker: CBRE). Through its Energy Procurement Services division, CBRE acts exclusively as a broker on behalf of commercial and industrial customers, facilitating individual customer-supplier agreements for electricity supply. CBRE does not take title to any energy commodity, does not pool customer load, and does not collect deposits or prepayments from customers.”
