Comments on CMP utility’s proposal were due on October 28, 2025. Previously on October 14, 2025 the Maine PUC issued a procedural order seeking comments on CMP’s October 1st proposed extension of the Electric Technology Rate.
On October 27th and 30th CMP filed the SQI report and its Quarterly Performance Report (Q3 2025).
As background, Central Maine Power (CMP) filed a petition for a revenue increase over a period of three years that seeks a revenue change in the range of $45 to $50 million in the first year with an increases of $25 to $30 million in the second year and $20 to $25 million in the third year.
The petition also includes battery energy storage system pilot projects and proposed adjustments to the utility’s time-of-use (TOU) rate periods.
