Commission Files Notice Of Hearing Participation In Limited Income Mechanisms For Utility Customers

[ *** ] Following receipt of the Report on Proposed Limited Income Mechanism for Utility Customers, on October 2, 2025, the Commission provided a Notice of Hearing and Opportunity to Comment and invited interested stakeholders to file comments on the matter by October 24, 2025. Additionally, the October 2, 2025 Notice alerted interested stakeholders that the Commission will conduct an in-person only, legislative-style hearing to review comments on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, beginning 10 minutes after the conclusion of the Commission’s Administrative Meeting, in the Frank O. Heintz Hearing Room, 16th Floor, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21202.
The Commission now requests that interested stakeholders seeking to testify at the in-person only, legislative-style hearing submit written notice of intent to participate via email to Melanie Santiago-Mosier (melanie.santiagomosier@maryland.gov) no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 23, 2025.
