Commission Files Notices Of Technical Conferences In Investigation Into The Quality Of Service Of Washington Gas Light

[ *** ] 1. The Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia (“Commission”) gives notice that the Commission will hold three virtual technical conferences. The first technical conference will be held on October 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM EST. The second and third technical conferences will be held in November and December 2025, respectively, at dates and times to be agreed upon by the Parties at the October conference. 

  1. By Order No. 22461, the Commission directed staff to convene three technical conferences with both Washington Gas Light Company (“WGL”) and the Office of People’s Counsel (“OPC”) to both address recurring inconsistencies in data reporting and outline measurable improvements to internal controls.  The technical conferences will cover potential improvements to notification and data reporting, record keeping, technician training, and retention of both the Natural Gas Quality Service Standards (“NGQSS”) and Leak Identification, Detection and Repair, and Odor Complaints (“LIDAROC”).
  2. The virtual technical conferences will be held on Teams. To receive an invitation, the parties should contact Kimberly Lincoln-Stewart at kstewart@psc.dc.gov at least five (5) days in advance of a technical conference.
