From Notice:

On January 12, 2024, Baltimore Gas and Electric Company (“BGE”) filed with the Commission a Request for the Commission’s direction regarding the application of community solar credits to customers’ accounts under Supplier Consolidated Billing (“SCB”).

Specifically, the Petitioners request that the matter be heard at an Administrative Hearing so that the Commission can give guidance on two issues: (1) whether House Bill 908 permits community solar customers to participate in SCB; and (2) if community solar customers are permitted to participate in SCB, how their credits should be applied.

After review of the Request, the Commission has determined that it will hear the matter at its Administrative Meeting on February 14, 2024. Any party that wishes to submit comments on the matter, shall file its comments by February 9, 2024. Comments should include a subject line that references “Community Solar Credits under Supplier Consolidated Billing,” and shall be addressed to Andrew S. Johnston, Executive Secretary, Maryland Public Service Commission, William Donald Schaefer Tower, 6 St. Paul Street, 16th Floor, Baltimore, Maryland 21202. The Commission encourages the use of the Commission’s “e-Filing” system for submission of the electronic copy of the filing. Details of the “eFiling” system are on the Commission’s web page, www.psc.state.md.us.
