Commission Names New General Counsel

The Maryland Public Service Commission announces the appointment of Miles H. Mitchell as the agency’s General Counsel, succeeding H. Robert Erwin who retired effective May 1, 2024, and who had served in the post for nearly 14 years. 

Mr. Mitchell has served as the Commission’s deputy general counsel for the past 20 years. Ransom E. ‘Ted’ Davis has been elevated from Associate General Counsel to Deputy General Counsel.
