Con Edison filed a retail access system modernization business plan.  ConEd contends the plan will enhance the current retail access systems – the Retail Access Information System (“RAIS”) and the retail choice components of the Transportation Customer Information System (“TCIS”), and while the plan is being filed by Con Edison, it will be jointly funded by and will benefit both Con Edison and sister utility O&R. The two-phase plan, if approved, includes EDI and billing system upgrades as well as upgrades to the retail access web user interfaces and enhancements such as improved self-service and reporting capabilities.
