Delmarva Power & Light Files Notice Of Intent To File Application For Increase In Natural Gas Base Rates

Pursuant to the provisions of 26 Del. C. § 304(a) and 26 Del. Admin. C. 1002 Part A §1.1, Delmarva Power & Light Company (“Delmarva Power” or the “Company”) hereby notifies the Commission of its intent to file an Application for an Increase in Natural Gas Base Rates on or after September 12, 2024. Base rate increases are necessary to provide for recovery of the current and ongoing level of operating costs and rate base for natural gas utility operations. Delmarva Power intends to file its Application using a test period consisting of three months of actual data plus nine months of forecasted data for the twelve months ending March 31, 2025, and as required in the Minimum Filing Requirements, will also include a test year consisting of twelve months of actual data ending June 30, 2024.
