Docket Closed For Gold Star Energy’s Application For Electric Aggregator Certificate

On March 12, 2024, the Office of Education, Outreach, and Enforcement (EOE) submitted a motion (Motion No. 1) requesting that the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (Authority or PURA) close the above-referenced docket and prohibit Gold Star Energy, LLC, (Gold Star or Company), from applying for an Electric Aggregator Certificate of Registration again for at least one year. The motion is granted in part and denied in part. [ *** ]

On February 8, 2024, Gold Star submitted an incomplete Application for Connecticut Electric Aggregator Certificate of Registration (Application) to the Authority. On February 14, 2024, EOE issued 15 interrogatories, requesting, inter alia, that Gold Star provide adequate responses to section A-4, A-7, A-9, A-11, A-12, A-13, B-3, B-4, and C-2 of the Application. Gold Star’s responses to EOE’s interrogatories were due February 27, 2024. Gold Star has not responded to the interrogatories. On March 12, 2024, EOE filed Motion No. 1, requesting that the Authority close the above-referenced docket because the Company’s application was incomplete. [ *** ]

The Authority did not restrict the Company’s future applications, but the docket was closed.
