In New York at the Public Service Commission Docket No. 18-E-0130 in the Commission’s Energy Storage Deployment Program several documents were filed:
- On December 2 and 3, 2024 NYSEG, RG&E, and NiMo (National Grid) filed their updated implementation plans detailing competitive procurements for Term- and Auto- Dynamic Load Management (“DLM”) programs.
- On December 2, 2024, Central Hudson, NYSEG, RG&E, and O&R filed their amended tariffs to add a “fixed, published price” procurement methodology as an additional approach for Term- and Auto-DLM Program procurements, in compliance with the PSC’s November 19, 2024, Order.
- On December 3, 2024, National Grid filed an RFP for participation in a Term-DLM and Auto-DLM Procurement to Provide Solutions for National Grid System-Wide Demand Response with Locational Auto-DLM Selections.
- On December 13, 2024, Con Ed and O&R filed a Revised Implementation Plan for a Competitive Direct Procurement of Scheduling Rights from Qualified Energy Storage Systems and posted related RFPs.
- On December 30, 2024, O&R filed its RFP for Dynamic Load Management Solutions to Provide Demand Side Management for Sub-transmission and Distribution System Load Relief.
- On December 30 , 2024 Central Hudson filed its RFP for vendors who can deliver Dynamic Load Management (DLM), including Load Relief (kW) solutions.
