Eversource Proposes To Procure Supply For Portion Of Small Customer Group
Re: Proceeding to consider Eversource’s 2023 default service solicitations. The utility plans to issue a default service RFP to procure default service for the six-month period of 8/1/23 – 1/31/24 for both the Large Customer Group and the Small Customer Group. For the Small Customer Group, the proposed rate is $0.12582/kWh. For the Large Customer Group, the proposed rates for the six-month period are $0.11837/kWh in 8/23, $0.09734/kWh in 9/23, $0.09486/kWh in 10/23, $0.13604/kWh in 11/23, $0.22688/kWh in 12/23, and $0.29225/kWh in 1/24.
Eversource files “to procure power supply for a portion of the Small Customer Group customers’ load in the ISO-NE day ahead market; set the Energy Service rate for those customers during the same period; and allow recovery and reconciliation of the Company’s Energy Service costs in relation to the alternative procurement plan.”
