FirstEnergy Files the Bid Results of April 2026 Default Service Solicitation

On April 9, 2026 FirstEnergy filed the results of its request for proposals process and rules for the April 2026 solicitation for provider of last resort service .

Among other things the bid results include 20 products in a declining clock auction for the supply of residential and commercial customers who will receive default service from FirstEnergy within the period Jun 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027.
