Governor Signs Order Reducing Carbon Emissions

Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont signed Executive Order No. 21-3, directing state agencies to take a range of actions within their existing authority in order to reduce carbon emissions and manage climate change impacts. Proposed actions include further reduction of building emissions, adoption of electric heat as an alternative to natural gas, and electrification of the state’s vehicle fleets.
