ICC Initiates Show Cause Order Against ConocoPhillips for Failure to File Reporting Requirements

In its Initiating Order the Illinois Commission adopts Staff’s recommendation against ConocoPhillips Company for failure to comply with annual and quarterly filing requirements as outlined in Attachment A, Exhibit 14, appended to the Staff Report, provides a sufficient basis to initiate such a proceeding.
Staff recommends the Commission impose a total penalty of $30,000.
Staff’s recommended penalty comprises penalties of the following amounts for failure to file:
- its Call Center Information Report due on March 1, 2022, on March 1, 2023, and on March 1, 2024, $7,500 for each year; and
- its Net Metering Report due on April 1, 2022, on April 1, 2023, and on April 1, 2024, $2,500 for each year.
