ICC Initiates Show Cause Order Against North American Power and Gas for Failure to File Reporting Requirements

In its Initiating Order the Illinois Commerce Commission adopts Staff’s recommendation in the Staff Report against North American Power and Gas, LLC for failure to comply with annual and quarterly filing requirements as outlined in Attachment A, Exhibit 4, appended to the Staff Report, provides a sufficient basis to initiate such a proceeding.
Staff recommends the Commission impose a total penalty of $57,000.
“Staff’s recommended penalty comprises penalties of the following amounts for failure to file:
- its Annual Compliance Certification due on April 30, 2022, and on April 30, 2023, $10,000 for each year;
- its REPS Report due on September 1, 2022, $7,500 for each year;
- its Call Center Information Report due on March 1, 2022, and on March 1, 2024, $7,500 for each year;
- its Net Metering Report due on April 1, 2023, and on April 1, 2024, $2,500 for each year;
- its Environmental Disclosures, $500 for failure to file each report due in , 2 January 2022, April 2022, July 2022, and October 2022; and
- its Kilowatt-hour Report due on March 1, 2022, $7,500 for each year.”
