IPA Procurement RFP Posted

IPA posted 2025 procurement draft RFP documents and supplier contracts for stakeholder comments.
Among other things, he procurement includes: (1) “monthly on-peak and off-peak standard block forward products” and combinations for Ameren, ComEd, and MEC for 6/1/25-5/31/28; and (2) capacity for Ameren for 6/1/26-5/31/27 and 6/1/27-5/31/28.
Next steps include:
- Comments on draft supplier contracts and RFP rules due by 2/14/25;
- Final Spring procurement supplier contracts expected 3/5/25;
- RFP documents expected 3/6/25; and
- Webcast scheduled for 3/7/25.
Other relevant dates:
- Part 1 window opens 3/10/25; Part 1 proposals due by 3/17/25;
- Part 1 notification expected 3/24/25. Part 2 window opens 3/25/25;
- Part 2 proposals except bids for energy products and bid assurance collateral and bids for capacity products due by 4/1/25.
- Bidder training for energy products scheduled for 4/2/25; energy bids due by 4/7/25; ICC decision on results of energy products procurement events expected 4/10/25. Bid assurance collateral for capacity products due by 5/2/25; bidder training for capacity products scheduled for 5/6/25; capacity bids due by 5/9/25; ICC decision on results of capacity products procurement event expected 5/15/25.
