Legislation Would Allow Supplier Carbon Offset Products

Senate Bill 151 has advanced out of the Ohio Senate Public Utilities Committee and is now awaiting a vote to be scheduled on the Senate floor.  If approved SB 151 would allow retail natural gas suppliers to offer voluntary carbon offset programs to customers, unlike other states such as New York that have restricted such products.
