MEPUC Issued Procedural Order Regarding Climate Change Protection Plans

The Maine Public Utilities Commission’s order establishes an agenda for a workshop to led by Berkeley National Laboratories “to provide information about work done in other states, potential best practices, and resources for utilities, and in particular smaller utilities, to help them develop their plans. The workshop will also examine issues applicable to all utilities like those raised by the [Governor’s Energy Office1], to obtain more detail on the utilities’ plans, and discuss potential expectations for future plans.”

The Berkeley Labs workshop is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. ET on August 6, 2024.
