Electric Connections Improvements Forum

Improvements Forum to bring together utilities, developers, state agencies, and other stakeholders semi-annually to:

1. Share information about the grid connection process and process improvements under development;
2. Provide transparency into the state and utilities’ work related to grid connections; and,
3. Discuss customer experiences with the grid connection process to identify pain points and collectively develop solutions.

The second semi-annual Electric Connections Improvements Forum is tentatively scheduled for the afternoon of September 15, 2026. The forum is part of an effort by the administration to work with the state’s investor-owned utilities and stakeholders to further streamline and standardize the grid connection process. Information on these initiatives and more can now be found on a new one-stop website.
