As part of Con Edison’s Retail Access Modernization Project (RAMP), we are proposing updates to New
York’s Electronic Data Interchange (“EDI”) Standards Documents, filing linked below:
• 98-M-1343
• 12-M-0476
This report explains the addition of a new optional purpose code 05 to denote rebills from original
bills in two Implementation Guidelines; the BIG08 segment in the 810 Invoice Utility Rate Ready
transaction and the BPT01 segment in the 867 Monthly Usage transaction.
