Office Of Staff Counsel Files Status Report On Compliance Issues In PSC Staff’s Complaint Against SmartEnergy

This letter is jointly filed by Commission Staff, SmartEnergy Holdings, LLC d/b/a SmartEnergy, and the Office of People’s Counsel in compliance with the Commission’s April 23, 2024, letter order requiring the parties, jointly, or Staff to file biweekly status reports concerning “an effort to resolve compliance issues in this matter.” This is the second such biweekly status report.
The parties met in person on May 1, 2024, and virtually on May 18, 2024. The parties have not reached an agreement on compliance issues at this time. The parties anticipate meeting virtually again on Friday, May 31 concerning these issues.
The parties do not currently have a joint recommendation as to when compliance proceedings should commence.
