Pepco Files Update on Public Charging Stations
From Pepco Update Letter:
On August 23, 2024, the Maryland Public Service Commission (the “Commission”) issued Order No. 91298 directing the Electric Vehicle (“EV”) Pilot Utilities to make a filing identifying the number of charging stations presently in development at each respective utility, their locations, and the expected date they will be operational. Potomac Electric Power Company (“Pepco” or the “Company”) hereby submits this filing in compliance with the Commission’s directive.
To date, Pepco has successfully deployed 220 Level 2 chargers and 20 Level 3 chargers, bringing the total number of installed chargers, as of the date of this filing, to 240 out of the total approved amount of 250 chargers. In the table below, Pepco identifies the five (5) sites for chargers that are currently under Siting Agreements and considered under development. The number of chargers at each site accounts for the remaining 10 chargers. [ *** ]
