Potomac Edison Files New Residential SOS Rates

- Potomac Edison has filed the new Electric Supply Charge under the SOS rate for residential customers for the period June 1, 2024, through May 31, 2025.
- The new June 1, 2024, Electric Supply Charge for residential customers, which makes up the majority of the total SOS rate, will be marginally higher than the current rate, which is in effect through May 2024. The Electric Supply Charge will then increase 5% on October 1, 2024
- Specifically, the Potomac Edison Electric Supply Charge will be 8.856 cents per kWh for the period June 2024 through September 2024, versus the current Electric Supply Charge of 8.826 cents per kWh. The Electric Supply Charge will then increase 5% to 9.302 cents per kWh on October 1, 2024, and will be fixed through May 31, 2025
