PUCO Issues Draft Rule Changes Re: Utility Exit From Merchant Function

Under a periodic rule review process, the PUC of Ohio has posted draft changes to Ohio Adm.Code Chapter 4901:1-19, relating to, among other things, exit-the-merchant function plans for natural gas utilities, and similar exemptions and alternative rate plans.

Entry directs all interested persons or entities wishing to file comments or reply comments with the Commission regarding the five-year review of the alternative rate plan and exemptions rules in Ohio Adm.Code Chapter 4901:1-19 do so no later than February 23, 2024, and March 8, 2024.

The proposed changes are non-substantive and address typographical, clarity, or similar issues.
