[ *** ] ORDERED: 

(1) That Baltimore Gas and Electric Company is authorized to charge an Automatic Cost Adjustment of $0.0128 per therm, to be applied to the 12-month billing period that began January 1, 2024; 

(2) That the fixed-price purchase program is hereby eliminated from Baltimore Gas and Electric Company’s Market-Based Rates Mechanism and Baltimore Gas and Electric Company is no longer required to purchase between 10 to 20 percent of its estimated normal winter flowing gas volumes at a fixed price prior to the beginning of winter (April 1 and September 15); 

(3) That Baltimore Gas and Electric Company shall provide notification in future purchased gas filings related to any reduction in storage capacity from current levels, and that such notification include an explanation for the decision to reduce storage capacity and how Baltimore Gas and Electric Company will continue to provide customers with the same level of protection from market price volatility. 

(4) That this matter is hereby continued and that a further hearing shall be held prior to April 15, 2025; 

(5) The Baltimore Gas and Electric Company shall file its direct testimony and supporting documentation in this matter on or before January 30, 2025; and 

(6) That this Proposed Order will become a final Order of the Commission on May 9, 2024, unless before that date an appeal is noted with the Commission by any party to this proceeding as provided in Section 3-113(d)(2) of the Public Utilities Article, or the Commission modifies or reverses the Proposed Order or initiates further proceedings in this matter as provided in Section 3-114(c)(2) of the Public Utilities Article.
