PURA Files Notice Of Revocation Of Ex Parte Communication Prohibition In Several Dockets Related to Electric Vehicles

[ *** ] The Authority hereby provides notice that PURA revokes the prohibition on ex parte communications that it originally exercised its discretion to invoke in the Notices of Proceeding issued on October 8, 2019, October 4, 2021, and April 30, 2024, in Docket Nos. 17-12-04RE04, 21-09-17, and 24-08-06, respectively. The Authority has determined that waiving observation of the ex parte prohibitions will better enable the Authority to collect and leverage lessons learned in other jurisdictions and to coordinate with stakeholders, including state agency partners and Connecticut’s electric distribution companies, enhancing PURA’s ability to conduct a thorough and robust review of information relevant to each proceeding.
