PURA Files Notice Of Technical Meetings In Non-Wires Solutions Process Initiation Phase

[ *** ] The Authority hereby notifies Participants and interested stakeholders that it will hold its second Technical Meeting (Technical Meeting No. 2) on August 29, 2024, starting at 9:00 a.m., its third Technical Meeting (Technical Meeting No. 3) on September 19, 2024, starting, at 9:00 a.m., and its fourth Technical Meeting (Technical Meeting No. 4) on October 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in-person at PURA’s offices, Ten Franklin Square, New Britain, Connecticut. The purpose of Technical Meeting Nos. 2, 3, and 4 is to facilitate a roundtable discussion on the system need suitability criteria and annual EDC data filings, the NWS competitive solicitation process and EDCs’ developed materials, and the benefit cost analysis framework. As such, the Authority seeks participation from participants to discuss proposals to modify, refine, and add specificity to the key NWS materials and process.
All participants are invited to identify no more than two spokespeople (Roundtable Representative) to participate directly in the facilitated discussions at each Technical Meeting to ensure that all participants are afforded an equal opportunity to engage. Additional participant representatives are welcome to attend the Technical Meetings, though they will not be the primary participants in the facilitated roundtable discussion as space is expected to be limited and the Authority wishes for each participant to be represented in the discussion.
