Technical Meetings Scheduled In Investigation Into The Establishment Of Integrated Distribution System Planning Within A Performance-Based Regulation Framework

[ *** ] The Authority hereby notifies Participants and interested stakeholders that it will hold its seventh Technical Meeting (Technical Meeting #7) on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., via remote access and its eighth Technical Meeting (Technical Meeting #8) on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 10:00 a.m., also via remote access.4 The purpose of Technical Meeting #7 is to discuss current evaluation processes for the EDCs’ existing distribution system planning practices and continuous improvement from one cycle to the next. The purpose of Technical Meeting #8 is to discuss how the EDCs identify, evaluate, and choose solutions to address grid needs within existing distribution system planning processes, and the cost recovery associated with projects included in its distribution system plan. Accordingly, the EDCs, other Participants, and interested stakeholders who intend to present must provide a list of presenters and an estimated time of their presentation to the case coordinator, Laura Lupoli, via email at laura.lupoli@ct.gov, by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 for Technical Meeting #7 and by 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 for Technical Meeting #8. The Authority will then issue meeting agendas, which will allow time for PURA staff, Participants, and interested stakeholders to ask questions of each presenter. Participants and interested stakeholders must file their presentations through the Authority’s web filing system and provide a copy to the case coordinator by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024 for Technical Meeting #7 and by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2024 for Technical Meeting #8.
The Technical Meetings will take place through remote access. Access instructions are set forth below.
