Ted Trabue Appointed Interim PSC Chairman

Mayor Muriel Bowser has appointed Ted Trabue as Interim Chairman of the Public Service Commission of the District of Columbia, succeeding Emile C. Thompson. A fourth-generation Washingtonian and DCPSC Commissioner since 2022, Trabue brings deep regulatory and utility expertise to this pivotal leadership role. As he steers the agency forward, Trabue promises to prioritize ratepayer protection, stating that his commitment “is to bring every voice to the table… opening a new chapter of transparency and engagement.”
