Long Description: LP&L will present the proposed 2025–2026 Delivery Rates to the Electric Utility Board and City Council according to the schedule outlined below. While final figures are not yet available, we anticipate that the existing rate structure will remain unchanged. The updated rates are scheduled to take effect on November 1, 2025.
A 2% rate decrease for Primary Customer class.
$/kWh will decrease from $0.00789 to $0.00722
No change to the Demand rate of $9.28/kW
No change to either the Transition Charge or the FFE Charge.
Street Lighting rate will change:
$/kWh will increase from $0.09235 to $0.11026
No change to the Transition Charge
No Changes to any of the other System Delivery Rates or Discretionary rates.
