Good Morning Texas SET,

Below are the meeting notes from our Texas SET meeting on October 14th, 2025. If you have any questions or feedback on the notes, please let me know.

The next Texas SET monthly meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 13th, 2025 @ 9:30am CST. 

ERCOT Updates:

• ERCOT provided updates for Flight 1025.
• All connectivity was completed without issues and Day 1 transactions started on 10/13/25.
• Flight 1025 is expected to conclude on 10/24/25 with the contingency period going through 10/31/25.
• CenterPoint asked about having the 2026 approved Flight schedule posted to the ERCOT website. ERCOT confirmed they will have that completed soon.

RMS Updates:
Biennial TAC/TAC Subcommittee Structural and Procedural review

• SET Chair shared the deck for review of the merging between the Texas SET working group and the Profiling working group.
• The new working group name will be proposed as Texas SET/LP WG.
• Chair reviewed the updated scope which received general agreement from the group that the new working group scope was accurate.
• SET Chair also reviewed options for the new working groups leadership model. All participants shared preferences on what leadership model would work best and why. The document will be reviewed at PWG for a final blessing before providing feedback to RMS.
• Brief discussion around the new Working Group procedures, SET chair advised the procedures are less of a priority to have finalized in 2025. Additional input from PWG is expected before the new working group procedures are finalized.
• Next steps, SET and PWG to review during the October PWG meeting, then both working group leaders will discuss with RMS leadership.

TMTP Review Continued:

• The group started by walking reviewing Chapter 1 resequencing from previous discussions.
  • Splitting out Purpose (1.1) and Standards (1.2), followed by Certification Test Plan (1.3).
• The group further reviewed the edits/comments provided by Jordan (ERCOT). Primarily grammar corrections throughout the document.
• The group followed that by further reviewing Carrie’s comments (BDE). BDE asked if Chapter 3 “Flight Breakdown” needed additional details to help MPs prepare for flight testing. BDE will draft potential edits to provide to the group for further review during the November SET meeting.
• Next was a brief review of the Flight Administer Requirements. There may be further elaboration on some items and/or resequencing the details provided. Paul/Sarah (ERCOT) will review when Paul returns to the office from PTO and provide updates to the group during the November SET meeting.
  • The group also asked for ERCOT to review the ‘Escalations’ section and make sure nothing needed to be added.
• The group worked through the additional comments/edits from the SET Chair. The group agreed that the “Testing to Production Checklist” section needed details added to explain actions TDSPs need to take to ensure the checklist is updated on the testing website for their information.
• The group segued to the ‘In-Flight Testing Details’ section, noting that the description needed some edits around certain word choices. This section outlines various In-Flight Testing scenarios, not enhancements.
• We closed the TMTP review with the “Coordinated Out-of-Flight Testing section. Noting that bullet (g) needed to be updated but might be able to address through resequencing the section. Texas SET working group will continue the TMTP review from this section forward during our next meeting.
