Electric Utility Files Updated Default Supply Rate
On October 1, 2026 Duquesne Light filed with the Pennsylvania PUC an update to the default service supply rate to be effective for various periods starting December 1, 2026
As filed, Duquesne Light’s supply charge for residential (RS) customers is to be 11.3718 cents per kWh for the period December 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027.
For small commercial and industrial customers (including Rate Schedules GS/GM and GMH under 25 kW), the Duquesne Light supply charge is to be 9.9736 cents per kWh for the period December 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027.
For medium C&I customers (including Rates GS/GM and GMH between 25 and 200 kW), Duquesne Light’s supply charge is to be 10.6373 for the period December 1, 2026, through February 28, 2027.
