PURA Files Notice Of Technical Meeting In Investigation Into Revenue Adjustment Mechanisms For Performance-Based Regulation Framework
[ *** ] The Authority hereby notifies Participants and interested stakeholders that it will hold its eighth Technical Meeting (Technical Meeting No. 8) on Friday, June 7, 2024, starting at 1:00 p.m., in-person at PURA’s offices, Ten Franklin Square, New Britain, Connecticut. The purpose of Technical Meeting No. 8 is to advance various investigative topics to refine the proposed design of Revenue Adjustment Mechanisms recommended in the Straw Proposal. The Authority will facilitate a roundtable discussion among Participants and stakeholders regarding PBR reforms for MRPs, the ESM, RDM, and Capex / Opex Equalization. As such, the Authority seeks participation from Participants and stakeholders to discuss affirmative proposals to modify, refine, and add specificity to the Straw Proposal’s recommended Revenue Adjustment Mechanisms. All Participants and stakeholders are invited to identify one spokesperson (Roundtable Representative) to participate directly in the Technical Meeting’s facilitated discussions to ensure that all stakeholders have an equal opportunity to engage. Additional Participant and stakeholder representatives are welcome to attend the Technical Meeting, though they will not be the primary participants in the facilitated roundtable discussion as space is expected to be limited and the Authority wishes for each stakeholder to be represented in the discussion.
