Former ComEd Executive Reports To Prison
As reported by Crain’s Chicago Business former ComEd CEO Anne Pramaggiore reports to federal prison. Pramaggiore was one of four former ComEd executives and associates convicted in 2024 in the long-running corruption case that tied the utility to then–Illinois House Speaker Michael Madigan.
The case, widely known as the “ComEd Four,” also included former lobbyist Michael McClain, retired ComEd vice president John Hooker and former consultant Jay Doherty. Prosecutors said the group orchestrated a years-long scheme to curry favor with Madigan by steering jobs and contracts to his allies in exchange for legislative help beneficial to ComEd.
