On April 9, 2026 NYSEG submitted a billing issue reporting form in the New York Commission’s proceeding for Community Choice Aggregation (CCA) regarding a billing matter.
In its filing NYSEG indicated that it discovered that 2,705 CCA customers were inaccurately charged because of a software upgrade to their customer billing system causing the billed gas weather adjustments to be too low.
NYSEG indicated that it will reach out to the Town of Union to let them know of this billing issue.
